Photographic journey through Senegal: part 1

The demons

English:

Over 20 kilometers away from Dakar, where the Cape Verde peninsula starts, there is a Senegalese town called Kounoune. This town is popular because of its power station, the first project created by private investors. But the town around it’s still needy.

We were received by the town kids. Next to the mosque the grownups are ready to perform: it’s a festivity day in the town, where the demons were already on their costumes and the band was playing long before we arrived.
